Ms. Casey earned her undergraduate degree in Politics from New York University in 2006 and her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2012. Ms. Casey worked for several years in both houses of the New York State Legislature. As a legislative aide, she honed exceptional statutory interpretation and construction skills by developing legislation and guiding bills through the legislative and committee process.

While attending Albany Law School, in addition to her work in the legislature, Ms. Casey interned with the Rensselaer County Public Defender's Office. Under a student practice order, Ms. Casey appeared in Troy and Rensselaer City Courts and defended indigent clients in criminal matters. Ms. Casey joined Thuillez, Ford, Gold, Butler & Monroe upon graduation from Law School in 2012.

Ms. Casey, an Associate Attorney, focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, correctional healthcare defense, labor law, and professional misconduct. She is admitted to practice law in all New York State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Western, and Southern districts. She is involved in all aspects of litigation and has argued cases before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, in both the Second and Third Departments. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, and the Albany County Bar Association.
