Molly Casey earned her undergraduate degree in Politics from New York University in 2006 and her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2012. Molly began her career working in both houses of the New York State Legislature where she honed exceptional statutory interpretation and construction skills through her work in developing legislation, and guiding bills through the legislative and committee process. Molly joined Thuillez, Ford, Gold, Butler & Monroe upon graduation from Law School in 2012.
Molly became a partner in the firm in 2017. She focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, insurance issues, correctional healthcare defense, and general liability matters. She is admitted to practice law in all New York State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern, Western, and Southern districts. She is involved in all phases of litigation, trials, and appeals.
Molly is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, the Federal Court Bar Association, and the Albany County Bar Association. Since its' inception in 2015, Molly has been an active member of the Second Circuit's Civic Education Committee. In 2018, Molly was elected as a representative from the Third Judicial District to the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
